เนื้อเรื่องย่อ (Synopsis) :

After being released from prison, Loong Sei (Tse Yeen) sets to conquer the gambling scene in Shanghai. He meets with twelve other strangers on a train, where they swear as brothers/sister. In seven days, Loong Sei manages to overtake all the casinos and becomes one of the most powerful man in Shanghai. Due to the circumstances, he also kills a good man at his own request and as a result, the man's widow vows to take revenge on Loong Sei. Loong Sei also meets Siu Chun (Michelle Yim) and her son in the train. Siu Chun has a bad impression of Loong Sei at first and stays away from him until later when the two become good friends.

Meanwhile, the detective, Lee Yik (Damien Lau) is aware of Loong Sei's presence in town. The two had a history and Lee Yik refuses to acknowledge his past with Loong Sei.

Lee Yik also meets a woman, Ming Dao (Cecilia Yip) and ends up saving her from the clutches of the Chief of Police who is madly in love with her but also abuses her. Lee Yik lives with two sisters, one of them played by Kristy Yang, taking care of them after he accidentally caused their parents to be killed. He has a faithful helper in police freshie, Chat Pak (Lam Chi Ho) who meets and falls in love with a thief (Annie Man).

One of the thirteen brothers/sister from the train is actually a traitor and starts to plot the downfall of Loong Sei.
